I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

TVK Orchestra is an extraordinary organization to work with. From the moment we signed with them I knew this would be one of our best decisions in planning our wedding. They are incredibly knowledgeable about music styles, make wonderful suggestions for each aspect of the event, and have wonderfully talented musicians. They provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and each was done to perfection! They filled the dance floor all night long we were so surprised when the last song of the night was played. We wanted it to continue - and so did our guests. We are still getting calls and texts from our guests about how fantastic they were! I would not hesitate to hire them again for any event - not just a wedding. It's important to note we planned our Chicago wedding from Atlanta - and they took care of everything beautifully, thinking of every detail. It took something off of our plate because we knew it was so professionally handled. They far exceeded our expectations and I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

TVK orchestra did a wonderful job at our wedding last month. They were very easy to communicate with prior to the wedding (we worked with Matt Evert who was great), and very receptive to what we had in mind for music at the wedding. They are also VERY talented--the pianist at our ceremony was lovely, and the band knocked it out of the park at our reception--we got so many positive comments from our guests about the music! We especially loved their renditions of our first dance and dances with our parents. My dad also wanted to surprise me by playing a song from my childhood, which the band very graciously made happen and is one of my favorite memories from the day. The Best Band you could imagine to hire!

I have wanted a live band to play at my wedding as long as I can remember. TVK made this dream come alive and exceeded all of my high expectations. The singers were spot on with harmonies and vocal range. The horn section blew us out of the water! Everyone we talked to at the wedding and after the wedding could NOT stop talking about the band. Matt (band manager) was quick to respond, showed up on time to every meeting, offered great suggestions, made sure all the special dances perfect, and met our every ask (including allowing open mic during dinner). TVK Orchestra played for our wedding on 10/18/24 and we could not recommend them enough. Matt was super easy to work with, kind and responsive. We felt like the band and Matt prioritized what we wanted to hear and what elements of the day were most important to us. Our entire experience working with TVK was smooth from start to finish. Best Band in Chicago Area!
Working with TVK was pretty easy! They were professional, but also super delivered with their music. It was certainly a splurge, but 100% worth it. Music is very important to my husband and me, so we also added a trumpet player. TVK played several Taylor Swift requests and also some fun songs that got the whole floor dancing (and I mean the WHOLE floor). Matt & the whole TVK crew are AMAZING people and amazing to work with. When we first started looking for a band to play at our wedding, Matt was always letting us know where TVK was playing at an event so we could listen to them before we booked to make sure we would get what we wanted. After deciding on TVK, Matt worked with us to ensure we had the perfect wedding. We had a half Polish half American wedding, so when the band had a break, they played a playlist of Polish songs so the dance floor was never empty and everyone danced to what they liked! We had so many compliments throughout the entire evening and are still getting rave reviews from all of our guests that they were one of the best wedding bands ever. HIRE THIS BAND!!!!

My husband and I are both musicians, so we were very particular about wanting a band that sounded great, had a wide repertoire, and would honor special requests. We spoke with Matt, who was really patient with us as two people with a zillion questions.

Tom, the band leader, has a great attitude and is very talented. My husband and I wanted to play guitar and sing with the band, and he went as far as to send us the exact arrangement the band would play and bring guitars for us. We were nervous about playing with them without rehearsing, but the performance went amazing and sounded great. Their sound people are so on top of it.

The band itself sounded incredible on every song. They kill it on every genre. I am not just saying this, our dance floor was packed every second. Our guests were telling them every moment they were about to take a break, the band played another banger and they wanted to stay. They really can read a room.

They were able to learn a version that I specifically liked, and tailored the length of time perfectly. From initial consultations nearly a year out to final tweaks and adjustments the week before, communication with TVK's dedicated (and experienced) manager was fluid and they were always available for questions and commentary. Apart from the smooth logistics, and perhaps most important, TVK absolutely killed the performance. The mix of band and DJ during breaks proved fantastic, and it was clear they've all spent time working and playing together. The cocktail hour was classy and professional and the band was able to let loose with our energetic crowd and rock the night away. Having the DJ play during breaks meant smooth transitions and no interruptions in the music, and it was incredible how well the DJ learned the Spanish songs we suggested he play. TVK Orchestra was phenomenal, our guests are already asking about booking them for their own weddings and events, and we cannot recommend them higher enough for yours. Thanks, TVK!

Packed Dance Floor All Night!
TVK performed for our 250 person wedding on June 10th. Since we had the wedding on a private property, we were somewhat concerned about logistics, but TVK made it so easy on us. They were responsive, flexible, and incredibly kind. Their 10 piece orchestra kept our dance floor packed all evening, which is what we wanted, and we are still getting compliments on the band weeks later. Matt was super helpful and patient with us as we worked through all the planning and Peter, the band leader, and his band kept the flow of the evening tracking as intended. They even worked on a special song request for us that our bridesmaid sang for our first dance. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a packed dance floor! Absolutely loved working with them and would do it again in a heartbeat!

WOW is all I have to say about Tom and the TVK team.

After looking into what felt like hundreds of bands, we randomly came across TVK. We set up a meeting with Tom who patiently answered our questions and showed us countless videos featuring the band and talent. Because it was COVID we weren't able to see them live, but never the less booked them for our Aug 2022 wedding. Tom was amazing throughout the entire process answering our many emails and working with us to have our vision of a 9 piece band, even in a small venue setting. One of the most special moments of the night was the first dance with my husband and we had chosen a country song that wasn't as well known, not to mention fast. The band learned the song and even slowed it down to an appropriate tempo for a first dance and it was a moment I will always remember. The whole evening was perfect and TVK kept the dance floor full all night long and even let my dad get up on the guitar and play along for a few songs! Countless guests approached my husband and I raving about the band, saying it was one of the best wedding bands they had ever heard. Our wedding was the 7th family wedding TVK has done, and for good reason! Tom drove hours for a vendor meeting, he spent so much time on the phone (nervous bride here) and was a phenomenal communicator - listened to every request. SO glad we found TVK - Fantastic Band

When planning my wedding, choosing a great live band was a top priority. With so many options in Chicago and recommendations from lots of friends and couples, the choice was overwhelming and involved lots of sticker shock. Finding TVK was the best stroke of luck!! We made our decision based on their extensive set list, great customer service, and extremely reasonable pricing. We had a few unique songs that mean a lot to us and our families that were not on the list, and the band learned them all. They made the dance floor so fun that we had to move several additional tables out of the way for a bigger dance floor! They also were so kind, responsive and flexible. As a classic indecisive bride, they were so receptive to my last minute changes.

TVK Orchestra had all of our guests on the dance floor - including people who we never thought would come out. They were the easiest vendor to work with, and were really helpful through the entire planning process. I highly recommend them to make your wedding so much fun!
